New York Comic Con is October 8th through 11th this year, and Kelly won’t just be attending – she’s being featured as a panelist.
The Phoenix Sisters were both invited to speak on the “Over 30 Cosplay” panel, and Kelly accepted.

Unfortunately, Crayle will be due to deliver her second baby shortly afterward, and cannot travel to attend.
We are both proud that Kelly will be representing Phoenix Sisters Entertainment on such an important topic at such a prestigious convention, however.
2026 marks New York Comic Con’s 20th anniversary, and the convention itself is one of the most famous comic cons out there, ranking alongside San Diego Comic Con in many regular con-goers’ estimation.
Meanwhile, Crayle and Kelly have spent a lot of time talking about aging as cosplayers, reassuring people looking to get into the hobby that it’s never too late.
The two even regularly joke that “cosplay keeps you young,” as people sometimes comment that they assume the Phoenix Sisters are younger than their actual ages.
It’s not all roses of course, as we addressed in one of our most-watched episodes of the podcast Cosplay Cafe, titled “Cospositivity vs. Ageism.”
So Kelly will have a lot of valuable insight to offer in this panel, and we are very excited to send her to this convention.
